We are a group of experienced singers, about half of whom live in Lewes. We don't meet regularly but we get together for one or two rehearsals before a date. Although the Lewes Singers only formed in 2004, many of us have sung together over a number of years in various choirs throughout the South East. From a pool of about 30 members we usually field a choir of 16 - 20 singers.
Our Music Director is Lewes-based organist and conductor Nick Houghton.

If you need some lovely music for a wedding or function, we can help. Nick is an experienced consultant for weddings and can suggest music (including hymns), supply singers and musicians and direct everything on the day. Please book your music as early as possible - although it is occasionally possible to book singers at short notice, ideally we need to know at least 3 months in advance of your date! This is especially true if the event falls at Christmas or during the summer holidays.
